Brenda S. “Sue” Fulton:
Sue is a 1980 graduate of the US Military Academy and of the first class to admit women. She served for five years in Germany.  During that time, she was investigated for alleged homosexual acts, though the charges were dropped for lack of evidence.  Later she was chosen – as a Lieutenant – to command a Military Intelligence company, which required a high-level security clearance.  She was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for that successful command.  After leaving the military, Sue entered the corporate world andis currently a brand director at a pharmaceutical company. Sue resides in North Plainfield, NJ, with her partner. Sue serves as Communications Director for Knights Out, an organization devoted to supporting LGBT West Point alumni.

Mariana Reed:
Mariana Reed hails from The Bronx, New York and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in the summer of 2006.  She completed her basic training on Parris Island, South Carolina, and trained further as an Ammunitions and Explosives Technician. Mariana received an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps in August of 2009 to pursue a career in politics. Currently, Mariana works for Dr. Joseph Stiglitz at Columbia University.  Mariana currently holds the title of Miss Teen Latina 2010, is the founder of the non-profit organization, “Love: In A Time Of War,” and is a member of the New York Young Republican Club.

Joe Simenic:
Joe graduated from West Point in 2005, and his cadet duty positions included first semester academic year first sergeant, first semester battalion commander and second semester regimental executive officer. Joe was discharged under the military’s controversial and “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell (DADT) policy after coming forward to his Commanding Officer and a friend. Joe’s admission of his sexuality came shortly before Ranger school, when he was at the top of his class.  Joe is currently a special assistant to the Governor of New York and recently completed his Masters in Public Administration at Columbia University.
